It’s a shame that the media and the powers that be are influencing the minds of people into thinking that bitcoin is some sort of scam and that everyone should stay away from it. It’s an even bigger shame that the folks who do understand bitcoin are the ones scamming these poor people! Bitcoin is not evil despite what many think, it’s simply a digital currency that is not tied to any nation nor controlled by any central bank. The fact that no one controls bitcoin is what makes banks so afraid. So, if no one is control, what is? The software behind bitcoin is the one controlling the network.

A recent report from Accenture analyzed the “near-term value” of AI applications in health care to determine how the potential impact of the technology stacks up against the upfront costs of implementation. Results from the report estimated that AI applications in health care could save up to $150 billion annually for the U.S. health care economy by 2026.

Canada’s AI community

Toronto’s rise as a burgeoning tech and artificial intelligence hub recently received a huge stamp of validation. The community made the final list of 20 cities in the running for Amazon’s HQ2, earning that distinction without offering any tax breaks or financial incentives to Amazon.

Being a tech torchbearer is nothing new for Canada. In the early 2000s, BlackBerry and Nortel each held sizable market shares in smartphones and telecom, respectively. Not long after that, though, an inability to gain a competitive advantage closed the door on each brand’s chance to dominate the marketplace.
